About Giving

Supporting Christ Church is an investment in the community. As followers of Jesus, we are called to engage in the world, spreading his good news through our actions and investment. This includes:

  • Helping feed the hungry

  • Providing living supplies to those in need

  • A Vacation Bible Camp free of charge during the summer

  • Community dinners

  • Pastoral care for home bound, imprisoned and hospitalized

  • Providing school supplies for children in need

  • Addressing the many faces of poverty and economic stress in our community with love, compassion and investment

  • Giving Christmas gifts to children in the community who otherwise would go without

And yes, some of the money goes to help maintain the physical church structure. The church is a terrific place to feel God's love and grace in a variety of ways. Some examples include:

While our work as parishioners is outside the church walls, we draw our strength from the love and example demonstrated within them. It is at the center of our identity and the platform with which we go out "to love and serve the Lord."
